In order to have cable TV or telephone service installed, you must adhere to Downtownian.com requirements.

Request Permission

To properly gain permission to have cable TV or telephone service installed, you must  submit a formal request via email, postal service, or submitting a service ticket. This must be submitted before you have scheduled the installation. We will be happy to grant your request as long as you follow the proper procedure. When granting your request, we will send you a lease addendum that grants permission for installation and lays out our requirements in detail.

Once you have received a ratified copy of the lease addendum, you must notify us of the time and date the equipment will be installed at least three business days in advance of the appointment (no weekends or holidays, please). In some cases, a Downtownian.com representative must be present for the installation to specify where and how the service may be installed. If we are unable to make it at the date you've arranged, you must arrange for an alternative installation appointment. A professional installer must perform the installation.

Also, please note that if we have to make a special trip to your building to meet the installer, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for the service.

If installation is performed without following these procedures, the service will be removed by the management staff, and you will be charged a fee for removal and repair.

Responsibility

You will be responsible for any and all damage caused by the cable TV or telephone installers and/or providers in installing and making the service operational. Also, please note that if any holes have been drilled in your apartment for wires, or if any wires, staples, etc. run along moldings, baseboards or other places exist at the time of your move-out, you will be financially responsible for the full cost of the removal and/or repair.
