Satellite Dishes

Satellite dishes are permitted, however there are certain rules and regulations you must follow if you wish to do so:


Request Permission

To properly gain permission to have a satellite dish installed, you must request, vie email or postal service, that we give you permission to install a satellite dish. We will be happy to grant your request as long as you abide by our rules and regulations.

In your request, you must notify us of the time and date the equipment will be installed at least three business days in advance of the install (no weekends or holidays, please), because a Downtownian.com representative must be there when the install is performed to specify where and how the dish may be installed. If we are unable to make it at the date you've arranged, you must arrange for an alternative install date because we must be there. professional installer must perform the installation.

Also, please note that if we have to make a special trip to your building to meet the installer, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for the service.


Responsibility

You will be responsible for any and all damage caused by the satellite dish installers and/or providers in installing and making the service operational. Also, please note that if any holes have been drilled in your apartment for wires, or if any wires, staples, etc. run along moldings, baseboards or other places exist at the time of your move-out, you will be financially responsible for the full cost of the removal and/or repair. You must remove the satellite dish completely upon move-out as well, even if the satellite provider tells you it is not necessary. If the dish remains after you move out, you will be responsible for the full cost of removal.
