Making Rent Payments

1. You may pay rent by personal or certified check, or electronic funds transfer from any U.S. checking or savings account.  Master Card, Visa, Discover Card, America Express and CASH payments may be made through a third party provider. A processing fee will apply to any card or cash payments.
2. Money orders are not accepted as a form of rent payment.
3. Checks may be mailed to Management Center, P.O. Box 4883, Baltimore, MD 21211.  Overnight payments should be sent via U.S. Postal Service to Management Center, 1401 Madison Ave., Suite B, Baltimore, MD 21217.  We cannot accomodate UPS or FedEx mailed payments at this time.
4. Your check should be made payable to the name specified in your Apartment Lease.  Don't make it out to Downtownian.com!  Also, be sure to write your address and unit number in the memo, or it may be processed incorrectly. 
5. Electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments may be made online from any checking or savings account by signing into your account at Downtownian.com. There is no additional charge for making an EFT payment.
6. Auto-pay may be configured so that your rent is automatically deducted from your account every month via EFT. 
7. Visit our third-party credit card processor, Plastiq, at  http://downtownian.plastiq.com to make a credit card payment.  There will be a 2.5% convenience fee for any payment made through Plastiq.  
8. To pay by cash, contact us to request a free PayNearMe payment card, which you can use at your nearby 7-11, Ace Cash Express or other select locations to make a cash rent payment. There is a $4.95 fee per payment to use your PayNearMe card.
9. Payments via Plastiq and PayNearMe must be made well in advance to avoid a late fee.*
10. Make sure you have enough in your account!  If your check or e-check is rejected for any reason, we reserve the right to charge you a $25 fee, plus bank fees, late fees and possibly other collections fees as well.
